History:

The original holt he was born in was destroyed by a terrible disease when he was 12. He and his mother were the only survivors, but his mother died weeks later while in labor. His baby sister disappeared soon after, along with his mother's wolf. He started traveling for years, one day coming across a burnt out old human village. There he found an old human short sword, and two young humans, hardly any bigger than him. Using crude drawings and hand motions he figured out that they were children, and that the village had been destroyed by another village, forcing most of the people to flee. He scavenged a bit more, picking up a few more human items out of curiosity, and was about to leave when one of the children started crying. The sound tore through any defenses he had set up to keep himself from getting too attached. He took the two children with him and set out to find the remains of the village. During their 3 year trek to find the humans, he and the children taught each other various words of their language. When they did finally find the village, he remained nearby to watch the children, having grown very attached to them. It was apparent that they had found their home however and he went on his way. This deed was to pay off years later when he stumbled into a slightly familiar Human village 6 years later. It turned out that this was the same village he had returned the children to. And the humans hadn't forgotten. The children were almost all grown up but for years had told stories of the Elf that had saved them from almost certain death trying to live on their own. These humans had come to see the elves as not evil spirits but good creatures of the woods, although they were disappointed that none had lived nearby, they still believed in the Elves' goodness. They fed him, and in the spring he left again, although he did stay for another few months in the forest to help them as payback. Eventually he moved on, and returned to his adventures.

Wandering Leaf ran into the Hurst of the Stormrise elves, and, at first, was planning on just staying to take cover from a storm that was coming. For various reasons he found himself staying longer than usual, and then decided to stay put when his long lost sister, Darkstone, appeared at the Hurst and showed interest in staying there. Wandering Leaf built a den for himself in a large tree on the edge of a clearing away from the Hurst, though still close by.

Nearly a turn after his arrival and acceptance into the tribe, Wandering Leaf found himself drawn to one of the elders - Nightcry. After some time of shyness, the pair decided to become lovemates. During the time when Tremble, Nightcry's wolf, birthed her pups when the Stormrise tribe was making the trek to their winter home, both he and Nightcry remained at the New Green Hurst and grew close. Very close. When Nightcry suddenly shared her soul name with him, he openly shared his, wanting nothing more than to spend the rest of his life with her, with his sister, and wtih his new tribe.

However, something happened shortly afterward. When Wandering Leaf went out to help Wildlight and a group of others attack the Shadow Beast's Lair, Wandering Leaf went missing. Any traces to his whereabouts went missing with a blanket of falling snow.

Wandering leaf was not quite ready to leave the holt or this world however. Days after his disappearance and despite the heavy snowfall, he was led back to the holt by his wolf bond. The young healer Tobin was able to heal Wandering Leaf of his wounds and the frostbite from the days of travel through the snow, though Wandering Leaf still feels pain sometimes as if his body is remembering the old wounds.

After the days spent healing he has started worrying if he has lost his edge, feeling maybe his time in the holt has caused him to grow softer and that he might not be in the best shape he was once in.
