Marrah grew up
in hard times with stern parents. She learned quickly the
value of hard work, but found herself estranged from her
parents.
Naturally a good
cook, Marrah took on the role of gatherer and cook for the
village. She takes great pride in her cooking skills.
She found love
with Garoff at a young age and mated with him by the time
she was 19 years old. They had a daughter the next year
and a son three years later. Marrah loves her family dearly.
Though she is proud of her children, she worries about their
futures - perhaps too much.
Now that her
daughter has taken an interest in an outsider man, she is
especially worried about Traelyn's future in the village.
No matter how she has tried to steer her away from the man,
Traelyn seems to be more and more drawn to him and away
from her family. Marrah's greatest fear is that her daughter
will leave with the outsider to return to his original home
and that she will never see her again.
