Personality:	Dakin is easy-going, friendly, and a kidder. He's pretty soft-hearted and protective of those he loves. He is also quite courageous and a hard worker.

Appearance:	Dakin has a lean build with tight muscles rippling across his shoulders, arms and legs. He is tall and will likely grow some more before he is a full adult.

Hair:	His hair is a sandy brown and it runs in waves to his shoulders. Long bangs often fall across his eyes.

History:	Dakin was born second child to Garoff and Marrah. He was raised with the values of hard work and honesty. Graced with an easy-going nature from the beginning, he isn't easily upset. He and Traelyn have always been close and they have a good-natured relationship with lots of teasing. Dakin wishes very much to be a good hunter and to gain standing among the other hunters of the village. His first experience with the hunting group took place in the foreboding forest during times of strife. The experience proved traumatic when the group was attacked by a bear and the hunt leader was killed. Dakin was left injured and alone with the dead bodies of both hunter and animal while Macalla went for help. He has never shared with anyone what happened while he was alone, but it has changed him forever. Plagued by horrible nightmares, he didn't get much sleep for weeks after. He had hoped for quite some time to catch the eye of a pretty village maiden and it seems he may have done so with Sihuu, if a kiss on the cheek says anything. Dakin is intrigued by the tall dancer and would like to spend more time with her. Her attention seems to have calmed his nightmares and he's finally been getting a few nights of good sleep.
