Brightblade was
born to two caring parents. His father had loved to teach
him to fight with a sword. And his mother had always directed
him to stay in a bright mood. But one day, they turned up
missing, without a trace or reason.
He concealed
himself at home for a long time, greiving over his loss.
But then, remembering how his father had loved to teach
him to fight, he picked up his father's sword, and continued
the training on his own. He learned new techniques using
his father's sword and his bow, running through the woods
to increase his speed and agility. Others who saw the young
elf training alone, staying away from others, were awe-struck
about how he did his training with concentration, determination,
and possibly... obsession.
Ever since the
attack by the bear-beasts that have seemed to take up residence
near the Hurst, he has become more watchful about his surroundings,
swearing that nothing will harm his fellow elves. This vow
has become more pressing as new threats have presented themselves
to the tribe. Whether bear-beast, shadow-beast, or human,
he will defend his friends and famiily.
Until lately,
Brightblade's heart belonged to no one. He would take interest
in some of the females who turned to him to teach him in
the ways of properly using a sword, but, more often than
not, those to whom his heart would go to would be unavailable
in some way. That was until Capnut's foray alone to fight
the Shadow Beasts. Though he, like his chief, thought the
elfess shouldn't have gone off alone, he admired her bravery
and courage. He saw a bit of the fire he felt within himself
in her, too. He had finally found a kindred spirit.
He and Capnut
have since become passionate lovemates, and there is nothing
he cares for more in the world than her.
